Plan a week of testing focus sounds
Plans a one-week test of different sound types for focus, with a simple rating after each session and a rule for deciding what to keep.
Task:
Plan a one-week experiment that finds out which background sound helps me focus.
Context:
I focus on [type of work] for about [hours per day] a day. Sounds I can use are [sounds or apps you have access to]. Noises I cannot stand are [sounds you dislike].
Rules:
- Test at most four sound options, each on two different days, and include silence as one option.
- Keep the task type and the time of day the same across tests so the comparison is fair.
- Give a rating card of three questions answered on a scale of 1 to 5 right after each session.
- Do not claim what a sound does to attention in general. Treat this as my own experiment, and say that one week gives a hint, not a proof.
Result:
A seven-day table with day, sound and session length, then the rating card, then a one-sentence rule for choosing the winner.
