Set up a simple kanban board

Sets up a kanban board with four columns, a limit on work in progress and rules for moving cards, for someone who starts too many things.

Task: Design a kanban board that stops me from starting too many things at once. Context: I will build it in [tool or paper]. My work is [kind of work] and I usually have about [number of open items] things open. My most common failure is [for example starting new things before finishing]. Rules: - Use exactly four columns and give each a plain name and a one-line meaning. - Set a limit on the number of cards in the doing column, with a reason for that number. - Write three rules for moving a card, including what I do when I am stuck on a card in doing. - Add a card format of at most three fields. Result: The four columns with meaning and limit as a list, the three rules numbered, and one example card. Maximum 200 words.
