Sort my tasks into an Eisenhower grid
Sorts a pasted task list into the four boxes of an urgent and important grid, with a one-line reason for each placement.
Task:
Sort the tasks below into the four boxes of an urgent and important grid.
Context:
For me, urgent means due within [number of days] days, and important means it matters for [your main goal]. I tend to rate everything as urgent when I feel anxious.
Rules:
- Use the four boxes Do first (urgent and important), Plan (important, not urgent), Hand off or shrink (urgent, not important) and Let go (neither).
- Give each task a reason of at most 10 words, and ask me about a task if you cannot tell whether it is urgent.
- Challenge any task that I put in the urgent box without a date.
Result:
Four lists under the box names, with each task followed by its reason. Finish with the one task to start with, chosen from Do first.
