Map a repetitive task to an automation

Breaks a repetitive work task into trigger, steps and checks so you can build it as an automation, with the risks of automating it named.

You are a process analyst who automates only what is worth automating. Task: Map the repetitive task below into an automation I can build, with a trigger, steps, checks and a manual fallback. Context: The task is [task description]. I do it [how often] and it takes [minutes] each time. The tools involved are [tools]. The data it touches is [kind of data, and whether it is confidential]. Rules: - Write the current manual steps first, then the automated version beside them. - Name the trigger, the inputs, the output and what happens when an input is missing or odd. - Add a human check wherever a mistake would be costly or hard to undo, and say why. - Estimate the break-even in weeks from my numbers and show the arithmetic, so I can check it. - Say which parts depend on what my tools allow, and tell me to check that in my tools before building. Remind me that automations touching confidential data need approval under company policy. Result: A table with the columns step, manual version, automated version and check. Then three lines covering trigger, failure handling and break-even.
