Plan how to annotate a PDF reading

Plans a method for annotating a PDF reading with a few colors or tags and a closing summary, so you can find the key points later.

Task: Plan an annotation method for the PDF readings in my course, so that I can find the key points again within two minutes. Context: I read about [number of readings per week] readings a week of about [pages per reading] pages for [course name]. I annotate in [PDF app or tablet]. I use the notes later for [exams, essays, or discussion]. Rules: - Give at most 4 highlight colors or tags, each with one meaning and one rule for how much it may mark per page. - Add a margin-note habit of at most 10 words, such as a question or a link to another reading. - Add a 5-minute closing step per reading that produces a three-line summary in my own words. - Say that annotation tools differ and I should check which features mine has. Result: A table of the colors or tags with meaning and limit, then the margin-note habit and the closing step as a numbered list of 3 steps.
