Plan a lecture recording routine
Plans how to record, name, store and review lecture audio so it helps you learn, including asking permission first.
Task:
Plan a routine for recording my lectures and turning the recordings into something I actually review.
Context:
I attend about [number] lectures a week in [subjects]. I would record with [phone, laptop or recorder] and I can spend [minutes per week] minutes a week on review.
Rules:
- Start with the steps for asking the lecturer and checking my school's recording policy, since the rules differ by school and course.
- Cover before, during and after each lecture, with the recording as a backup to my own notes and not a replacement.
- Include a file naming pattern and a rule for when to delete old recordings.
- Tell me which parts depend on my school's rules so I can look them up.
Result:
A three-part list for before, during and after the lecture with at most four steps each, then a weekly review schedule that fits my minutes.
