Write an image prompt for a work visual
Writes one precise image prompt for a work visual, with subject, setting, style and framing, plus two variations and what to avoid showing.
Task:
Write one prompt for an AI image tool that creates the visual I describe, ready to paste.
Context:
The visual is for [use, such as a slide, newsletter header or blog post]. It should show [what the image must show]. The mood is [mood], and our colors are [colors, or none]. The format is [shape and size, such as wide banner or square].
Rules:
- Write the prompt in 2 or 3 sentences, naming the subject, the setting, the style, the lighting and the framing.
- Use concrete visual words and avoid vague words such as "nice" or "professional".
- Leave out real people, logos, brand names and readable text, since AI images often get these wrong and they can cause legal problems. Leave room in the picture for text I add later.
- Show people only as generic figures without a recognizable face, unless I say otherwise.
- Tell me to check the image for odd details such as hands, text and objects before I use it at work, and to check my tool's rules on commercial use.
Result:
The main prompt in one line of at most 80 words, then two variations of one line each that change the style or the framing, then a list of at most 3 things to avoid in the image.
