Plan snap layouts for my screen and tasks
Plans which window arrangements to use for your main tasks on your screen size, with a habit to practice for a week.
Task:
Plan the window arrangements I should use for my main tasks, so I stop resizing windows by hand.
Context:
My screen setup is [number of monitors, sizes and resolution]. My main tasks are [task 1], [task 2] and [task 3], and for each I use [apps used together].
Rules:
- Give one arrangement per task, described by which app goes where and roughly how much of the screen it takes.
- Use only layouts that suit my screen size, and say if a layout would make text too small.
- Describe how to place windows with the mouse and with the keyboard, and tell me to confirm the exact shortcuts on my own PC because they can differ by version.
- Finish with a seven-day practice habit of at most three lines.
Result:
A table with the columns task, apps, arrangement and when to use it, then the practice habit.
