Build a copy-and-paste routine around clipboard history
Builds a routine for using clipboard history in your daily work, with a rule for what never to copy, and when to clear it.
Task:
Build a daily routine for using clipboard history so I paste faster without leaking anything sensitive.
Context:
I copy and paste mostly [what you copy, for example quotes, links or code] between [apps you move text between]. I share my screen about [how often] and the PC is [personal, shared or work-managed].
Rules:
- Describe three situations where clipboard history saves me time, each with the exact action sequence.
- Name the kinds of content I should never copy while history is on, and what to do instead.
- Tell me how and when to clear the history, and tell me to check how to do it in my own settings before relying on it.
- If a setting could affect other devices or accounts, say so before I turn it on.
Result:
Three short scenarios as numbered steps, then a four-line rule list titled "Never copy" and a one-line clearing habit.
