Design a custom zone layout for my monitor

Task:
Design a custom zone layout for my monitor that fits the apps I keep side by side.
Context:
My monitor is [size, resolution and aspect ratio]. The apps I use together are [app 1], [app 2], [app 3] and [app 4]. I want zones in a tool such as FancyZones, but I am not sure it is installed.
Rules:
- Propose two layouts, each with three to five zones, with every zone given as a percent of screen width and height.
- Say which app goes in which zone and why that size suits it.
- Tell me to check the tool's own editor for how zones are created, because I will enter your numbers by hand.
- Add a one-week test plan with one thing to check each day for the first three days.
Result:
For each layout, a table with the columns zone, width percent, height percent and app, followed by the test plan in three lines. End with one sentence on which layout to start with.
