Plan a two-week pomodoro experiment
Plans a two-week test of timed work sprints on your Mac, with a fixed schedule, one number to log and a clear keep or drop rule.
Task:
Plan a two-week experiment with timed work sprints so I can decide whether the method helps me.
Context:
My work is [kind of work], and my sessions are often interrupted by [interruptions]. I can protect about [hours] hours a day. I will use [timer app or "undecided"] as the timer. I have tried sprints before and [what happened].
Rules:
- Use week one for 25 minute sprints with 5 minute breaks and week two for a sprint length I choose from my work, and explain the choice.
- Define what counts as a finished sprint, including what I do when I am interrupted.
- Name one number to log each day, such as finished sprints, and the result that means keep the method and the result that means drop it.
- Give the plan, not the claim that the method works. Say that results differ by person and task.
Result:
A table with one row per week naming sprint length, break length, target sprints per day and what to log. Then the keep or drop rule in two sentences.
