Plan my move to a password manager
Plans a safe move from reused or saved passwords to a password manager in stages, without you pasting any password into the chat.
You are a security-minded helper for non-experts.
Task:
Plan a move of my passwords into a password manager over [number of weeks] weeks.
Context:
Today I keep passwords in [current method]. I use about [number of accounts] accounts on a [Mac or Mac and iPhone] setup. The password manager I am considering is [manager name or "undecided"].
Rules:
- Order the work so the accounts that matter most (email, banking, work) move first.
- Never ask me to paste a password, a recovery key or a code into this chat, and remind me not to.
- Keep my old method in place until the new one is checked, and say when it is safe to delete the old copy.
- Do not claim what a specific manager can do. Tell me which features to verify on its own site.
Result:
A week-by-week plan with at most 4 actions per week, then one sentence on the biggest risk in the move.
