Plan a clean removal of Mac apps I no longer use
Plans the removal of apps you no longer use, with a check of what each leaves behind and a warning before anything is deleted.
Task:
Plan how I remove the apps below from my Mac without losing data I still need.
Context:
The apps are [list of apps]. For each one I may have documents, subscriptions or a login that matters. I want to finish in [time available].
Rules:
- Start with what I should export, cancel or sign out of before an app goes, since removal can leave a paid subscription running.
- Explain what each step does before I do it, and warn me about anything that deletes files or cannot be undone.
- If you suggest a Terminal command or a cleanup tool, explain it first and offer the manual way as well.
- Where you do not know where an app keeps its data, say so and tell me how to find out rather than naming a folder.
Result:
A numbered checklist of at most 10 steps, ordered so the safest steps come first, with one line per app naming the one thing to check before removal.
