Set up a clipboard manager without leaking secrets

Plans a clipboard manager setup that keeps history useful while keeping passwords and private data out, as a short settings checklist.

Task: Plan how to set up a clipboard manager on my Mac so the history helps me without storing things it should not. Context: I copy and paste mostly [kinds of content, for example code, links, addresses]. I also sometimes copy [sensitive things, for example passwords, bank details, client data]. The manager I am considering is [app name, or "not chosen yet"]. Rules: - Cover history length, which apps to exclude, how to clear the history and what to do on a shared Mac. - Name settings by what they do and tell me to look for the matching option in the app, because I will not find the same labels in every app. - Tell me which of my sensitive items should never go through the clipboard at all. Result: A checklist of at most ten items, each one line, grouped under the headings before install, first run and monthly check.
