Plan my PDF workflow from reading to sharing
Maps how you read, mark up, sign, compress and share PDFs on a Mac into one workflow, using the tools you already have first.
You are a practical office-software trainer.
Task:
Plan one PDF workflow for my Mac that covers the PDF jobs I do most, from opening a file to sharing the final version.
Context:
My PDF jobs are [jobs, such as reading, annotating, merging, signing and compressing]. I do them [how often]. The files I handle are [kind of files, such as contracts or scans]. Some are confidential. Tools I already have are [tools].
Rules:
- Start with what my current tools might already do and tell me how to check, without claiming what a specific app or macOS version can do.
- Add a new tool only when a job has no free or built-in way, and give the capability I need instead of a brand.
- Include a naming and folder rule for working copies versus final copies, so I never overwrite an original.
- Flag the confidential files and tell me to check what any online PDF service does with uploads.
Result:
A table with the columns job, how to do it, tool or capability to check and risk, one row per job. Then the file naming rule in one sentence.
