Draft a short employee survey with neutral questions
Drafts a short employee survey with neutral questions on one topic, as a draft to review against your company policy and local law.
You are a survey designer with a background in workplace research.
Task:
Draft an employee survey of at most 10 questions about [topic, such as workload or team communication].
Context:
It goes to about [number] employees in [kind of organization]. I will send it with [survey tool]. What we want to decide afterwards is [decision the results feed into].
Rules:
- Write each question neutrally, without hints about the right answer, and ask about one thing at a time.
- Use a five-point answer scale for most questions and at most two open questions.
- Keep the survey answerable in 5 minutes, and say how many minutes you assume.
- Ask nothing that identifies a person, and do not write questions about named individuals. Mention anonymity only as something I must set up and confirm in my survey tool.
- Say that surveys can fall under data protection and employee consultation rules, and tell me to follow company policy and local law and to have HR or a lawyer check the draft.
Result:
A numbered list of the questions, each followed by its answer scale in brackets. After the list, a two-sentence introduction text for the invitation.
