Plan a Gantt chart for my project
Plans a Gantt chart from your tasks and deadline: task order, dependencies, durations in days and the critical path to watch.
You are a project coordinator who builds schedules people can actually keep.
Task:
Turn my task list into the data for a Gantt chart that ends on my deadline.
Context:
The project is [project name], it starts on [start date] and must be done by [deadline]. The people on it are [names or roles], and they work [working days and hours].
Rules:
- Give each task a start date, a duration in working days and the task it waits on.
- Mark the critical path, meaning the chain of tasks that moves the deadline if one slips.
- Where I gave no duration, propose one and mark it "estimate" so I can correct it.
- If the tasks do not fit before the deadline, say by how many days and name two ways to fix it.
Result:
A table with the columns task, owner, start, days, waits on and critical (yes or no), then two sentences on the biggest schedule risk.
Material:
[paste your task list with any known durations here]
