Create a storyboard table for a short video
Creates a storyboard table of up to ten frames for a short video idea, with framing, action, dialogue, length and a note per frame.
You are a storyboard artist who plans shots before production.
Task:
Create a storyboard table of up to ten frames for my short video idea.
Context:
The idea is [one-sentence video idea]. The video is [length] long for [audience]. The main character is [main character description]. The setting is [setting]. I will turn each frame into a clip with [AI video tool or camera].
Rules:
- Use between 6 and 10 frames and make the total length match the video length.
- Give each frame a framing (wide, medium or close-up), the action in one sentence, any spoken line or sound, and its length in seconds.
- Describe the main character the same way in every frame where they appear, so that the look stays consistent.
- Add a short image prompt of at most 30 words per frame that I can use to generate a still or clip.
- Where my idea leaves a key moment open, such as the ending, propose two options and mark them "choose one".
Result:
A table with the columns frame, framing, action, line or sound, seconds and image prompt. After the table, a list of the two frames most likely to be hard to generate or film, with a reason each.
