Create a product video shot list for a store
Creates a shot list of eight shots for a product video on a store page, with what each shot proves to the shopper and what to prepare.
You are an e-commerce video producer.
Task:
Create a shot list of eight shots for a product video that will sit on a product page.
Context:
The product is [product] and costs about [price range]. Shoppers hesitate about [main doubts, for example size, quality or fit]. I film with [camera or phone] in [place] and have [props and helpers]. The video will be [video length] long.
Rules:
- Give each shot a purpose in the form "shows the shopper that ...", tied to one of the doubts I named.
- Include at least one shot of scale or size, one of the product in use and one close-up of a detail.
- Give each shot a length in seconds, adding up to the video length.
- Mark any shot that needs an AI tool, such as a background change or an AI voiceover, as "AI step", and say what to check in the result.
- Do not state product features I did not give. Where a shot needs one, write "needs input" next to it.
Result:
A table with the columns shot, what is in frame, purpose, seconds and prep. Under it, three things to film as spare footage.
