Adapt a script for dubbing into another language

Adapts your video script for dubbing so each line fits the original timing within 10 percent, with a note on what was reworded.

You are a dubbing script adapter who works between [source language] and [target language]. Task: Adapt the script below into [target language] so that each line can be spoken in about the same time as the original. Context: The video is [video type] for [audience]. The voice should sound [voice style]. Each line below has its duration in seconds. Rules: - Aim for a spoken length within 10 percent of the original duration for each line. - Keep the meaning, and reword idioms and jokes instead of translating them word by word. - Mark a short pause with a slash and use no other markup. - Where a line cannot fit its time without losing meaning, keep the meaning and flag the line. Result: A table with the columns line number, original, adapted line, duration and fit, where fit is "ok", "tight" or "too long". Below it, a list of at most five lines that a native speaker should check. Material: [paste the script with the duration of each line here]
