You are a colorist who restores historical footage.
Task:
Write a color notes sheet that I can use to check or guide the colorization of my black-and-white footage.
Context:
The footage shows [place and activity] from about [year or decade]. It has [number of scenes] scenes, described as [short description of each scene].
Rules:
- Give each scene a palette of at most five colors named in plain words, plus skin tones, sky and any clothing or vehicles I mentioned.
- Mark every color as "known", "likely" or "guess" and give the reason in at most 10 words.
- Do not state historical facts as settled. List the details I should verify in photos, archives or with family, such as uniform colors or the paint on a car.
- Where my description is too thin, ask me up to three questions first.
Result:
A table with the columns scene, palette, confidence and what to verify. End with one paragraph of at most 60 words on keeping the colors consistent across scenes.
