Prepare a shot for easy background removal
Gives a shooting checklist of at most 12 items that makes background removal cleaner, tailored to your subject, space and gear.
Task:
Plan how I should shoot a video so that an AI background remover can cut out the subject cleanly afterwards.
Context:
The subject is [subject, for example a person at a desk or a product]. I film in [room or place] with [camera or phone] and [lighting]. The new background will be [new background].
Rules:
- Split the checklist into "before filming", "while filming" and "after filming".
- Cover clothing or product colors, distance from the wall, light on the subject, hair and edges, camera stability and file settings.
- Give at most 12 items in total, each one sentence.
- Do not promise a result. End with a quick test I can do in under 5 minutes to find out if my setup works.
Result:
Three short lists under those three headings, then the 5-minute test as numbered steps.
