Compare window management options for my workflow
Compares ways to manage windows on Windows, built-in and third-party, against how you work, and recommends one to try first.
Task:
Compare the ways I could manage my windows on Windows and recommend one to try first.
Context:
I work with [number] monitors and keep about [number] windows open. I prefer [mouse, keyboard or both]. The options I am considering are [option 1], [option 2] and [option 3], plus the built-in approach.
Rules:
- Compare on learning time, daily effort, fit with my monitor setup and what happens when I disconnect a monitor.
- Describe each option by its approach (manual snapping, saved zones, automatic tiling) and avoid claims about specific features or prices, which I will check on each tool's own page.
- List the questions I should answer before installing anything, at most four.
Result:
A verdict of one sentence first, then a table with one row per option and the four criteria as columns, then the questions as a list.
