Check what built-in Mac apps already cover

Checks which of your daily tasks the apps that come with a Mac can handle and which need a third-party app, with a verdict per task.

Task: Check which of my daily tasks the apps that come with a Mac can handle, and which tasks need a separate app. Context: My Mac runs [macOS version, or "not sure"]. My daily tasks are [list of five to eight tasks]. I currently pay for or use [apps you use now]. Rules: - Judge each task on whether a built-in app can do it well enough, and what I would give up by not buying something. - Describe built-in apps by what they are generally for, and tell me to confirm any feature on my own Mac, because features differ between macOS versions. - Say when you cannot decide a task from what I told you. Result: A table with the columns task, built-in app to try, gap and verdict (keep what I have, switch, or add). Then one sentence naming the single change that saves me the most money or effort.
