Check my Mac apps for Apple silicon readiness

Sorts the apps you list into check first, ask the developer and probably fine, and tells you how to verify each one on your own Mac.

Task: Help me work out which of the apps in the material below I should check first before or after moving to a Mac with Apple silicon. Context: I am moving from [current Mac] to [new Mac]. I rely most on [most important apps for my work]. Some apps depend on plug-ins, drivers or older versions that I may not be able to replace. Rules: - Do not tell me whether a named app works on Apple silicon, since you cannot know my version. For each app, say how I can check it myself and what to ask the developer. - Sort the apps into three groups by risk to my work, check first, ask the developer, and probably fine, and give the reason for each in one line. - Treat anything that uses plug-ins, drivers, virtual machines or old versions as higher risk, and say why. - List the fallback I should keep until each high-risk app is confirmed. Result: Three groups as short lists, each app with its reason, then a checklist of at most 5 steps to run before I retire the old Mac. Material: [paste the list of your apps with their versions here]
