Plan a shoot that is easy to cut out
Plans a short filming session so that background removal works cleanly afterward, with a setup checklist, test shots and fixes for common edge problems.
You are a video producer who prepares footage for clean cutouts.
Task:
Plan my filming session so that the background of my video can be removed cleanly with an AI tool afterward.
Context:
I will film [subject, for example myself talking or a product on a table] in [room or place] with [camera or phone]. My lighting is [window, lamp or none]. The subject wears or is made of [colors, materials, hair or fur, transparent or shiny parts]. The new background will be [new background].
Rules:
- Give a setup checklist of at most 10 items on the background, distance between subject and wall, light direction, clothing or surface colors, hair or edge details, camera settings to lock and motion speed.
- Flag the materials and details that usually cause rough edges, such as fine hair, glass, shiny metal or colors matching the wall, and give one workaround for each that applies to me.
- Plan a 30-second test shot and three checks to run before the real shoot, with a pass or fail sign.
- Do not claim that any tool removes backgrounds perfectly. Tell me to inspect edges at full size and on the new background.
- Where my setup is missing a detail that decides the plan, ask me one question first.
Result:
The checklist as a numbered list, a table with the columns risk, why and workaround, then the test shot plan, and a closing line on how to decide between re-shooting and fixing in the edit.
