Plan how to extend a short clip to 30 seconds
Plans how to stretch a short AI clip into a 30-second sequence by chaining extensions, with a story for each segment and quality checks.
Task:
Plan how I extend my short clip into a 30-second sequence, segment by segment.
Context:
My clip is [length] and shows [what happens]. I want the sequence to tell [story or purpose]. The tool is [tool name] and each extension adds about [seconds added per extension] seconds, to the best of my knowledge. I can afford [number of generations] generations.
Rules:
- Divide the 30 seconds into segments, each with its own small goal in the story and a prompt of at most 45 words for the extension.
- Say what the prompt must repeat from the previous segment (subject, light, camera direction) and what it may change.
- Add a quality check after every segment with three items: does the subject still look the same, does the motion continue naturally, and does anything new appear that should not.
- Tell me when to stop extending and restart from a fresh clip instead, such as when the subject drifts, and give a way to hide the join with a cut.
- Do not state what the tool allows. Tell me to check its maximum length and extension options.
- Where my clip description is too thin, ask me one question first.
Result:
A numbered list of segments with seconds, goal, prompt and the quality check result I should look for, followed by a table of the three most likely failures and their fixes.
