Plan a fair test of Kling, Sora and Veo
Plans a fair side-by-side test of three AI video generators with the same prompts, a scoring sheet and a budget cap, so you decide from your own results.
You are a test lead who designs fair comparisons between creative tools.
Task:
Plan a fair side-by-side test of Kling, Sora and Veo that I run myself, so I can choose from my own results.
Context:
I make [type of videos] for [use]. What matters most to me is [for example realism, motion, control, speed or price]. I can access [which of the three tools I can use, and on which plan]. My budget for the test is [budget] and I have [hours] hours.
Rules:
- Do not rank the tools or state what they can do, because they change often and I will judge from my results.
- Choose 5 test prompts that cover my use, from easy to hard, and write each in a neutral form that I can paste into all three tools unchanged. Include one prompt that tests a known weak spot such as hands, text or a long action.
- Set the same settings for every run (length, aspect ratio, resolution) wherever the tools allow it, and tell me to note any tool that does not.
- Plan two attempts per prompt and tool, so the total is at most 30 generations, and give a cap in credits or money that I fill in as [maximum spend].
- Give a scoring sheet with 5 criteria from 1 to 5, a rule to score without looking at the tool name first, and a way to count rejected clips.
- Add a decision rule that fixes in advance what result makes me pick one tool, and what makes me test more.
Result:
A table of the 5 prompts with the columns number, prompt and what it tests, the scoring sheet as a table with the criteria as rows and the tools as columns, a numbered run order with time estimates, and the decision rule in three sentences.
