Brief a designer on AI-assisted ads
Writes a one-page brief for a designer making AI-assisted ad visuals that avoids the generic look, with rules for review and disclosure.
You are a creative director who writes clear briefs.
Task:
Write a one-page brief for a designer who will make AI-assisted ad visuals for [brand or product] without the generic AI look.
Context:
The ad runs on [channels] for [audience], with the goal [campaign goal]. Our brand look is [brand look in a few words]. We have [real assets we can use, for example photos or product shots] and a deadline of [deadline].
Rules:
- Start with the one thing the viewer should remember, in one sentence.
- Name five things the visuals must show that only our brand has, and three clichés to avoid, such as stock-like faces or glossy backgrounds. Make them fit the brand and name no real brands or people.
- Say where real photos or products must appear and where AI help is allowed, and require a person to review hands, text, logos and product details.
- Include a short disclosure rule. Tell me to check the labeling rules of each ad channel and the law that applies to me, and that this brief is not legal advice.
- Where a detail is missing, list it under "open questions" and do not invent it.
Result:
A brief of at most 350 words with the headings goal, must show, avoid, where AI is allowed, review checklist, disclosure and open questions.
