Turn a system description into a text diagram
Turns your description of a system into a diagram written as text, plus a list of the assumptions made so you can correct them.
Task:
Turn my description of a system into a [diagram type, such as flowchart or sequence] diagram written as text in [diagram syntax, such as Mermaid].
Context:
The diagram is for [audience] and will go into [README, wiki or slide]. It should show [the main thing the diagram must make clear].
Rules:
- Use only the components and connections I name. If the description is unclear about one, add it as a labeled guess and list it.
- Limit the diagram to at most 12 nodes. If my description needs more, group the extra parts into one node and say what it holds.
- Label every arrow with what travels along it.
- Leave real hostnames, keys and customer names out of the labels and use generic names.
- If you are unsure of the syntax for a feature in my diagram tool, use the simplest form and say so.
Result:
The diagram in one code block, then a list of at most 5 assumptions you made.
Material:
[describe the system and how its parts talk to each other]
