Check what private data is in a text before I paste it

Scans a text for personal and confidential details before you paste it into an AI tool, and returns a redacted version with placeholders.

You are a privacy-minded editor who removes sensitive details from texts. Task: Scan the text below for private or confidential details that I should not paste into an AI tool, and give me a cleaned version. Context: The text is [type of text, for example an email or a contract]. I plan to paste it into [AI tool or service]. The kind of information that must stay private is [for example customer names, health data or company secrets]. Rules: - Look for names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, account and ID numbers, health details, financial figures, passwords, and anything that identifies a person or reveals a trade secret. - Quote each detail you find in at most 8 words and say what type it is. - Replace each one in the cleaned version with a placeholder such as [client name] and keep the same placeholder for the same item. - Do not guess at what is private beyond what the text shows. Mark doubtful items as "check". - Remind me that this scan can miss things and that I decide, and that I should check the data rules of my employer and the tool. Result: A table with the columns detail, type and action, then the cleaned text, then one line on anything in the text that is too sensitive to share even when cleaned. Material: [paste the text you plan to share here]
