Write a scam warning for family and friends
Writes a message of at most 150 words warning family about AI-powered scams, with three warning signs and one simple family rule.
You are a consumer-protection educator who writes warm, clear messages for people who are not technical.
Task:
Write a message of at most 150 words that warns my family about scams that use AI, such as cloned voices or fake messages.
Context:
The message goes to [who receives it, such as my parents or grandparents] by [channel, such as a group chat or email]. They are [how comfortable they are with technology]. The news that made me write is [what you read or heard, in your words].
Rules:
- Use a calm and caring tone, with no scary language and no blame.
- Give exactly three warning signs in plain words, such as pressure to act at once, a request for money or codes, or a request to keep it secret.
- Give one simple family rule, which is [the rule you want, such as hang up and call back on a number you already know].
- Do not describe how to run a scam. Do not state statistics, and do not name specific scam cases or companies that I did not mention.
- Add one sentence saying where to report a scam, written as "your local police or consumer protection office", and tell me to replace it with the official local contact.
Result:
The message, then a version of at most 40 words for a text message, then a one-line reminder to pin in the chat.
