Turn a rock riff idea into band parts
Turns your written description of a rock riff or song idea into parts for guitar, bass, drums and vocals, with what each player does per section.
Task:
Turn the riff or song idea below into a written part for each band member.
Context:
The band is [band lineup]. The song is rock in the style of [describe the style in words, without naming a real band]. The parts will be played by people, fed to an AI music tool or entered in a DAW.
Rules:
- Keep my riff, my key and my tempo exactly as I describe them.
- Write the guitar, bass, drums and vocal parts for each section in plain words, such as "palm-muted eighth notes on the low string".
- Add nothing to the idea that I did not describe, except what a part needs to work, and mark each such addition.
- Where my description leaves out the key, the tempo or the sections, write "not stated" and ask me for it.
- You cannot hear the result, so tell me to try each part and judge it by ear.
Result:
A table with one row per section and a column for each band member. After the table, a list of up to four additions you made and one sentence on the section most likely to need changes.
