Write editing rules for a shared group document

Writes a short set of working rules for a shared group document covering naming, edits, comments and who writes which part.

Task: Write a one-page set of working rules for our shared document that I can paste at the top of it. Context: We are [number] students writing [type of document] for [course], due on [due date]. We use [document tool] and chat in [chat tool]. Past problems were [for example overwritten text or unclear versions]. Rules: - Write 8 to 10 rules in plain, friendly language, each on one line. - Cover who writes which section, how to suggest edits instead of overwriting, how to leave comments and resolve them, how to name versions, and when the document is frozen before submission. - Include a rule that each person's writing credit follows our course rules on group work. - Address the past problems directly. Result: A title and the numbered rules, then a two-line checklist for the final read-through, in at most 200 words.
