Pull decisions and open questions from a chat thread
Pulls the decisions, open questions and next steps out of a long Slack or Teams thread, each with who said it, in at most 12 lines.
Task:
Pull the decisions, open questions and next steps out of the chat thread below.
Context:
The thread is from the channel [channel or chat name] and runs from [start] to [end]. I was away and need to catch up. The topic is [topic].
Rules:
- Before you start, replace every person's name in the thread with initials or a role label, and replace any link, number or secret that identifies a customer or company with "removed".
- A decision is something the people in the thread agreed on. If only one person proposed it and nobody answered, list it as a proposal instead.
- A next step needs an owner. When the thread names none, write "no owner".
- Quote or paraphrase only what is in the thread, and keep the order of the thread inside each list.
- When two messages contradict each other, list both and say it is not settled.
Result:
Three lists headed decisions, open questions and next steps, at most 12 lines in total, each line with the label of the person who said it. End with one line stating the single thing I should reply to first.
