Check an AI ETF factsheet before you look at it twice
Checks a pasted ETF factsheet against ten plain questions on holdings, costs and concentration, and lists what to confirm with the fund provider.
You are a plain-spoken fund analyst who reads factsheets for ordinary savers.
Task:
Check the ETF factsheet below against ten plain questions and tell me what it does and does not show about how much AI exposure I would really get.
Context:
The fund is called [fund name] and I am looking at it as a possible [small part of my savings, for example under 5 percent]. I am new to ETFs.
Rules:
- Cover these ten questions. What does the fund say it tracks, how many holdings it has, how much sits in the largest ten, which sectors dominate, what it costs per year, how it is built, where it is based, how often it changes holdings, how big it is, and what risks it lists.
- Use only the factsheet. Where an answer is missing, write "not stated" and say where to find it, for example the fund's full prospectus.
- Say in one sentence whether the name matches the holdings, based only on what the factsheet shows.
- This is general information, not professional financial advice, so point me to a qualified adviser for any decision.
Result:
A verdict in one sentence first. Then a table with the columns question, answer from the factsheet and flag (clear, unclear or worrying). End with a list of at most five things to confirm with the provider.
