Write a CI workflow that runs my web tests
Writes a continuous integration workflow that runs your web tests on each change, after reading your project files, with secrets kept out.
Task:
Write one CI workflow file for [CI service] that installs my project, runs my tests and reports the result on each change.
Context:
The project uses [language and package manager] and the tests are run with [test command]. The browser tests need [browsers or none]. The project files are in the material.
Rules:
- Read the project files first and list the commands you found for install, build and test, and say which you assumed.
- Run the fast unit tests first and the slower browser tests after them, and stop the run early when the first group fails.
- Cache the dependencies, set a timeout, and upload the test report and failure screenshots as files after a failed run.
- Reference secrets by the names in the CI settings and never write a value into the file or ask me for one in this chat.
- Pin the versions of the actions and tools you use, and tell me to check each one against its current documentation.
- Before I run anything destructive such as a deploy or a database reset, explain it. Leave such steps out of this file.
Result:
The complete workflow file in one code block with comments, then at most 5 lines on what to set up in the CI service before the first run.
Material:
[paste the project's package file or build file and your test commands here]
