Build a sound effects cue sheet from a script
Pulls every moment that needs a sound effect out of your script into a cue sheet with timing, sound description and layer.
Task:
Pull every moment that needs a sound effect out of the video script below and write a cue sheet.
Context:
The video is [video type] in the style of [style, for example realistic, cartoon or minimal]. I will make or find the sounds with [sound source, for example an AI sound tool or a library].
Rules:
- A cue is any action, object, place or transition in the script that would make a sound on screen. Skip music and voiceover.
- Give each cue a time, a plain description of the sound in at most 12 words, its layer (action, ambience or transition) and how long it lasts.
- Use only what the script shows. Where the script does not give a time, write "no time" and quote the line instead.
- Add a note when two cues overlap, so I can balance them.
- Write each sound description so it can be pasted into a sound effects tool, without naming a brand or product.
Result:
A table with the columns cue number, time, script line quoted in at most 8 words, sound description, layer and duration. Under it, up to five ambience beds that would carry the whole video.
