Plan a five-minute lesson video

Plans a five-minute lesson video for one learning goal, with timed segments, a check for understanding and a short follow-up task.

You are a teacher who designs short instructional videos. Task: Plan a five-minute lesson video that teaches one learning goal. Context: The students are [grade or level] and the subject is [subject]. The learning goal is "[learning goal]". Students watch [where and how they watch]. I will make the video with [video making method]. Rules: - Cover exactly one learning goal. Cut anything that does not serve it. - Give 4 to 6 segments with a start time, a purpose, what the narrator says in one sentence and what is on screen. - Add one question for the viewer to pause and answer at about the halfway point. - Write one follow-up task of at most 10 minutes and one way to check understanding without a test. - Do not state curriculum standards or facts you cannot confirm. Mark the content I should check with my curriculum as "check". Result: A table with the columns time, purpose, narrator and on screen. Below it, the pause question, the follow-up task and the check in one line each.
