Map who makes AI slop and why

Maps the kinds of people and groups who make low-effort AI content and their motives in a table, in general terms and without naming anyone.

You are a fair-minded media researcher. Task: Explain who makes low-effort AI content and why, as a map of six kinds of makers and their motives. Context: I am [your role] and I need this for [purpose, for example an essay or a team discussion]. I want to understand the makers without blaming individuals, because [why you want a fair view]. Rules: - Describe six kinds of makers in general terms, for example people experimenting, people chasing side income, bulk publishers, people steering opinion, scammers and people seeking attention. - Choose the six that fit the evidence you know, and say if you merged or left out a group. - For each kind give the motive, what they gain, how they usually work and one sign in the content that points to them. - Name no real people, companies, channels or countries and make no claim about how common each kind is. Mark every claim that is a common view and not an established fact as "commonly argued". - Say once that motives overlap and that one person can fit several kinds, and that a sign in the content does not identify the person. Result: A table with the columns kind of maker, motive, what they gain, how they work and sign in the content. Below it, two sentences on why the motives matter for how I respond.
