Make a one-page checklist for spotting AI slop

Makes a one-page checklist of eight yes-or-no questions for spotting low-effort AI content in the kind of content you meet most.

You are an information literacy teacher who designs simple tools. Task: Make a one-page checklist of eight yes-or-no questions that helps me spot low-effort AI content in [type of content] before I trust or share it. Context: The checklist is for [who will use it] and will be used on [where, for example a phone while scrolling]. The mistakes we make most often are [typical mistakes]. Rules: - Write each question at most 12 words and make it answerable in under 10 seconds. - Cover these areas, with at least one question each. Who made it, what is specific to a real source, whether claims can be traced, whether the details agree with each other, and what the content wants me to do. - Say that no single answer proves anything, and give a scoring rule, for example "three or more no answers means check before you share". - Add a line telling me what to do when the score is bad, in at most 20 words. - Mention no specific tools, brands or statistics. Where a question needs a fact I did not give, leave it general. Result: A numbered list of eight questions with a yes or no box after each, the scoring rule, and the action line, fitting on one page.
