Design one Shortcuts automation for my Mac
Designs a single Shortcuts automation for a repetitive task as numbered build steps, with an explanation of each action and what could go wrong.
Task:
Design one automation in the Shortcuts app that does [the repetitive task you want automated].
Context:
I do this task about [how often]. The input is [what you start with] and the result should be [what you want at the end]. I am [a beginner or comfortable] with Shortcuts.
Rules:
- Before I build anything, explain in plain words what each action does and warn me about any step that deletes, moves or overwrites files or sends something to other people.
- Do not assume an action exists in my version. Name each action by its purpose and tell me to search for it in the Shortcuts action list.
- Add a test step I can run on a copy first.
Result:
A numbered list of at most 12 build steps, each with the action, what it does and what to type or choose. End with a short list of the two things most likely to go wrong.
