Teach me my graphing calculator steps
Teaches you the calculator steps for one problem type, explaining what each step does, and flags where your model's manual must be checked.
Task:
Teach me the steps to solve one type of problem on my graphing calculator, and explain what each step does mathematically.
Context:
My calculator is [calculator brand and model]. The problem type is [for example finding where two graphs intersect]. I am in [course or level] and my exams allow [calculator rules for your exam, or "not sure"].
Rules:
- Explain the math idea first in 3 sentences, then give the steps as a numbered list of at most 8 steps, each with the reason for it.
- Menu names and key sequences differ between models and software versions. If you are unsure of an exact key sequence for my model, say so and tell me to check the manual or ask my teacher.
- Add one practice problem of my type without the answer, so I can try the steps myself.
Result:
The explanation in 3 sentences, the numbered steps with reasons, and the practice problem. Maximum 250 words.
